Claim to Fame season 3 has announced its new shocking twists, one of which will change the end of the game for the contestants. Hosted by Kevin and Franklin Jonas, Claim to Fame season 3 once again features lesser-known celebrity relatives competing for the $100,000 grand prize. Past winners of the show include season 1's Loreal Chanel Palmer, known as "LC," who's Keke Palmer's sister, and season 2's Gabriel Cannon, who's Nick Cannon's brother. Claim to Fame contestants have been the relatives of athletes, actors, musicians, and politicians.
"It’s going to be a little bit more problematic at the end."
In an interview with TV Insider, Claim to Fame executive producer Eric Detwiler revealed that one of the twists for season three involves "some interesting uncovered connections between potential contestants." Eric predicted that this will cause some "mind-bending confusion" and "pretty epic reveals." In addition, the ending of the show is a bit different. Kevin revealed that if a contestant wins the last challenge, it doesn't mean that they're in full control, so "it’s going to be a little bit more problematic at the end. The friends you made along the way — or enemies — will matter."

Claim To Fame Season 3 Contestants Can’t Rely On Clue Wall Alone
The Clue Wall Has A New Twist For Season 3
During Claim to Fame, the Clue Wall is an essential part of the game. It's made up of a collage of objects, some of which are hints about the contestants' identities, and some of which are red herrings. However, for season 3, the Clue Wall won't be available to every contestant at all times. Instead, access will be limited. Eric explained that this decision was made because "we really wanted to encourage them to look elsewhere — away from the Clue Wall for other information — specifically with their fellow players."
Claim to Fame season 3's twists seem epic. It's going to be thrilling for the contestants to realize that they might be connected to each other. In season 2, The Masked Singer stars Nick Cannon's brother, Gabriel, and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg's niece, Olivia, were both Claim to Fame contestants, but Olivia didn't last long enough in the game for their connection to play out. Competitors are often rattled when they discover their own clues on the Clue Wall, but it'll be exciting to see what happens if a clue fits more than one contestant.
It's also intriguing that the Clue Wall won't be accessible to everyone throughout the whole game. Contestants often convene at the Clue Wall together to study it, but now that might not be possible. Competitors who win challenges have gained access to Wine Room rebus puzzle clues in the past, so it'll be interesting to see how the Clue Wall twist affects that aspect of the game. Although these new twists will make the game harder for the contestants and keep them on their toes, Claim to Fame season 3 seems like it might be the best yet for viewers.
Claim to Fame season 3 premieres Wednesday, July 10 at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
