Hung Cao has a message and campaign that cannot be understated. His story of resilience, service, and sacrifice are missing from those on the ballot of our officials at all levels. Though I am well outside his proposed constituency, I'm interested in how this Warrior's campaign is presented to and received by them.

With some luck, timely mentoring, patience, and a resume by Richard Drosin,MSM,SHRM-PMQ, I was selected out of a large pool to be promoted into a headquarters-level Physical Security Specialist role for my agency. Though it is not the job I initially updated my resume for, my decision to submit to God's plan and timing rather than my passions allowed me to join a completely different team that better suited my skills and personal interests than the initial job.There are too many people to thank individually, but each of you is truly appreciated for your support and encouragement on my journey.

Considering I had an older gentleman tell me the exact opposite just a few short months ago, I find this interesting especially in tying this information to the post 9/11 generation.

If anyone ever wanted to know what I was doing as a kid, this is probably just a tad bit off but not by much...

Having officially requested the DoD Inspector General, via official requests routed through the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard, to investigate multiple cases of wrongdoings, this article points to one of the issues I (and many other members) have found: when the chain of command is the problem, what good is the Inspector General if they report to the same chain?In my instance, the Alabama National Guard found all of my complaints "unsubstantiated" without contacting the complainant (me), reviewing my documentation, or conducting interviews with the witnesses I listed. If, as this article identifies, there was an independent party receiving and properly routing/inquiring/researching/investigating/etc., the results may have been the same BUT the results might have been less-likely to be questioned as there would have been an independent process with uninvolved persons who would provide a written report rather than the single page document stating unsubstantiated and FOIA us if you want anything else.Over three years, at least two FOIA requests, and one response of "nothing found" later, the commander and chain of command I filed against have continued their actions with impunity and zero accountability.https://lnkd.in/eTyGwjui
