Meets and More Meets
WOW... it seems that there are meets every week... :p never any real time to rest or something and most of them are in the 415 area,
By there any chance there will be a meet in I don't know in San Jose or Milipitas?
as long it doesn't interupt needed tech days. I understand everyone is pretty much busy :( and meets are pretty.... interesting... :D
I mean its doesn't even have to be just a plain ol meet, it could be a drive... or BBQ... or football game... :)

Huh... all the meets I really know of are between San Jose and Union City, as far as the weekly ones the guys around here set up. I'm just a hanger-on, and I've only been to a couple of them, but they should do you just fine... Thursday nights at various places, and there are usually threads about them about a week in advance. There are two upcoming right now, one for tomorrow night (5/17) and one for the following week... are those the ones you're talking about as being in 415?
EDIT: Whoops, looks like both of the upcomings are on Wednesday nights, not Thursday nights... 5/17 and 5/31.

yes, my meets are union city, millbrae, mountainview. I try to host a food or drive over the weekend, but i'm just so busy and unsure of my schedule until the day it happens. you do not have to go to every meet if you need a break. on the fourthh week, if greenmachine doesnt hold a meet, i will try to hold another eat-n-drive meet near san jose. In the works with John to start the Chet's autocare BBQ/tech days, look for those soon (in santa clara). hope this helps:)

I was keeping things quiet because I thought Miatabum had a scheudle. If you want, I can arrange a venue if the fourth week is the one not currently being scheduled?
I know there have been a few folks interested in Indian food, Pho, Dim Sum, and Texas BBQ (Ok, I added that one in).
Either way, I would like to have a regular, monthly event in the San Jose/Santa Clara/Milpitas area.

Ohhh Uhmmmm I DON'T go to all the meets, my studies take up most of the time... HAHAHA soooo I go to a few meets, well the local ones cause I hate to waste too much time behind slow moving cars...
How about just plain PIZZA?... ROUND TABLE near my place, huge parking lot (seeing albertson was closed down) there is a starducks near by, hawaiian food, quiznos, McDontitmakeyoufat, Taco Hell and LENNYS is near too.

You start a post asking for more meets but you don't go to many of the existing meets? Am I missing something here?

Yeah... the mountain view meets are still going on. I try to attend that one on a montly basis. In the past two months, we've gotten a consistent 10-20 cars per meet. Pretty cool! :D

I just stated my opinion because I found your post very contradicting. You ask for more meets but you have no time to attend them. By pointing out what I believe to be blatently obvious, does that mean I deserve threats of needle throwing or practice injections? I think not. Haha.
